Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be received and transferred to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, nestled amidst the Eastern Himalayas. With its stunning landscapes and vibrant culture, Gangtok makes for a perfect introduction to the region. After reaching, check in to the hotel and relax for the day. Stay overnight at the hotel in Gangtok.

After breakfast, set out for an exciting excursion to the beautiful Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet and approximately 37 km from Gangtok. This serene, glacial lake is considered sacred and is surrounded by rugged mountain landscapes. Continue the drive to New Baba Mandir, situated at 13,200 feet and about 16 km further, a revered site with an interesting legend attached to it.
Please note that both locations are subject to permit clearance and weather conditions. In case of heavy snowfall, vehicles will be allowed only up to the Snow Point. Return to Gangtok in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for a half-day city tour of Gangtok. Begin with a visit to the vibrant Flower Show, then explore the Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (closed on Sundays and 1st & 3rd Saturdays), followed by the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), a center for Buddhist studies. Continue to the peaceful Dro-dul Chorten and finally enjoy a scenic ride on the Gangtok Ropeway (ticket at own cost), offering panoramic views of the city. After sightseeing, you will be driven to Darjeeling, known as the “Queen of the Hills.” On arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.

Begin the day early with a visit to Tiger Hill (subject to availability of permit/token) to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga. On the return journey, stop at the iconic Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop, a unique spiral railway track surrounded by landscaped gardens. After breakfast at the hotel, continue your local sightseeing with a visit to the Japanese Temple and the Peace Pagoda. Proceed to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (both closed on Thursdays), then explore Tenzing Rock and the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays). End the day with a scenic view of Darjeeling’s famous Tea Gardens. Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.
